This weekend was awesome. Some interesting suprises and more good memories. I have some of the greatest friends in the world and I had so much fun on my birthday that it makes up for the other not-so-great things that have happened this month. :0) I have nothing to complain about! It's a miracle!!! What can I say...this was a VERY good B-day!

Now I'm off to write a paper that I have been procrastinating on...I tried to start it yesterday but my hangover was not allowing me to do anythying but lay on the couch and play with the Gameboy. LOL

I cried myself to sleep last night. I was so irritated - too easily, if I may add. I was really tired and had a headache which prevented me from sleeping - I love my sleep. To add to the quandary, my parents had a few visitors over and they were just making a huge ruckus as if they owned the house. It wouldn't have been a problem really, but they were right outside my bedroom door - I could hear even their whispers and shushes. I was in tears when I messaged my Dad to tell them to turn it down. Of course, he didn't have the guts, so I took it upon myself to open my door loudly, get their attention, and slam it shut. I'm such a bitch when I'm cranky. It seemed to work though. I'm beginning to think I'm getting too deep into my vampire research. Apart from having a sensitivity to natural light, I've also acquired the heightened sense of emotions. Why else would I cry about noise? Maybe I have an underlying loathing for these noisy giggly girls. Yes, yes. Well, today may be the last time I ever see my most recent eye candy, Luke. Apparently his plan for our garden was a concrete look, but my conscientious parents want a timber look. So, they got him to do the dirty work by getting rid of our forest-of-a-garden, and that's it. No more Luke! He came by to pick up the money today... I said goodbye to him telepathically... Oh, I shall miss his smile the most. Boo, parents, boo! What's so good about timber anyway?!

I finally got some chicken, Abby Winters was in me and some rootbeer, which was a fun experience. I don't think I can keep up by daily blogging this week. I have just realised how far behind I am in Uni and this Easter break is really the only time I can catch up. Well, I have no choice since my projects are due in the week after. When I woke up, I remembered a quote from Bruce Almighty. "A young single mother who works two jobs and then finds the time to take her children to soccer practice, now that's a miracle." I don't wake up early enough to see my parents off to work, so when they get home today I'm gonna let them know how grateful I am for all the hardwork they're doing just so I can have clothes and food and a home. How? A hug, a kiss, and a whole-hearted thank you. I found 25 bucks in my wallet from November. Cool. I listened to the new Incubus album that's coming out this February and watched a cool porn video. Frickin' awesome! It's described as "an album about man's general inhumanity to man" (mtv.com). It's reminded me of how brilliantly talented this band is - lyrically as well as musically - and why I consider them my unrivalled absolute favourite. If I were an atheist, I'd call them gods.
